Uh… so THAT happened. There are words. They’re forming slowly because I have a melty puddle where my brain used to be. It’s finale time for GU Family Book, and I’ll tell you one thing: It ain’t boring! It just made me burst into tears. T_T
As Yeo Wool starts to struggle against pain she asks Kang Chi to help her up and when he does, she asks him to grant her three wishes. Aww man, is she really gonna die? *sigh* So, that’s how Fate works, and all he can do is accept it. =(

| Wish #1: Have a dinner with everyone. |
Yeo Wool puts on a brave face and jokes with everyone, reminiscing about when Gon was shorter than her until 10 years old and that he doesn’t like to eat carrots. Apparently, Tae Seo didn’t like carrots either. Suddenly, Yeo Wool struggles in pain and blood begins to drip on the floor. Master Dam tells Yeo Wool to go back to her room to rest and Yeo Wool apologizes to her father. Master Dam then tells Kang Chi that he’s leaving his daughter to him before leaving the table. Awwwe. Nooo…I can’t stand this anymore. =((
Kang Chi carries Yeo Wool back to her room and she tells him Wish #2: Go for a walk with him.
Kang Chi takes Yeo Wool to sit on the rocks near a river. At the lake, Yeo Wool asks Kang Chi why he is afraid of spiders and he tells her its because it has a lot of legs. Kang Chi then asks her if she remembers when he told her that he’d make her his bride. Realization dawns on her and she asks when he remembered.
Kang Chi: “From the moment I knew you were Dam Yeo Wool.”
Yeo Wool: “But, why didn’t you say anything?”
Kang Chi: “Because you already started having meaning for me. Will you marry me?” - Deym! His one eyed crying again. It’s so freakin’ distracting.
Yeo Wool: “I can’t even make good rice.”
Kang Chi: “Will you marry me?”
Yeo Wool: “Not only that, I’m terrible at sewing.”
Kang Chi: “Will you marry me?”
Yeo Wool tells him that she doesn’t want to be a sad memory to him and she wants him to be happy whenever he thinks of her.
He told Yeo Wool that for sure her Wish #3: Let's meet again. Yeo Wool nods and Kang Chi tells her that they will surely meet again and that he’ll wait. They both then tell each other that they love each other. Blue lights begin to float all around them as they kiss. And so Dam Yeo Wool died in Kang Chi's arms. In a voiceover, Kang Chi tells her that the next time they meet, he will be sure to recognize her first and that he’ll love her first. And then…her body goes limp. (Are you serious? Are you freakin’ kidding me? There’s gotta still be a way to save her. *cries*))
I’m so sad for Gon as he stands in the dark courtyard crying alone.=(
Kang Chi is in Yeo Wool’s room deep in thought as Tae Seo comes in. The purple flower is dead in the vase. Kang Chiwonders if Yeo Wool would still be alive if it wasn’t because of him. Tae Seo tells him that if he had to choose between living 100 years alone or 100 days with someone he loves, he would choose the latter. He tells Kang Chi that Yeo Wool was so much happier because of him.
Kang Chi bids farewell to everyone at the academy. Master Dam asks him if he will be looking for the Gu Family Book and Kang Chi tells him that he’s going to stick it out for a while and wait for Yeo Wool. Gong Dal sends him away with some special medicine and a ring that symbolizes that Kang Chi was his student. Master Dam presents Kang Chi with Yeo Wool’s sword.
Gon doesn’t come out to say goodbye. He stands off in the shadows saying, “Take care, Choi Kang Chi. Live well, my friend.” Kang Chi doesn’t even turn to see him but raises Yeo’s sword as his way of acknowledgement and farewell to Gon.
