BTS SETS FIRE IN MANILA

One of the brightest and the biggest Korean boy group widely known as BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan rocks MOA Arena last July 30, 2016. As I was one of the lucky ARMYs who witnessed a show with the most explosive production, near-perfect choreography and glorious visuals - all equivocally matched with the passion and energy that only BTS can render onstage. πŸ‘ŒI am a hardcore VIP and I didn't expect any group to exceed my expectation when it comes to performance.

BTS EPILOGUE in Manila 2016
Filipino ARMYs even prepared the biggest ARMY Bomb to welcome BTS in Manila! πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ» (I really hope that the boys got to see this. πŸ’–πŸ’–)

Biggest ARMY Bomb!

I was on the verged of tears before the concert cause its past 5pm but we're still in line with our fellow ARMY and we still haven't get our concert tickets. 😭😭 #TeamScalper LOL

With my concert buddy! We're still outside. 😒😒 We looked like a mess!
The show started at around 7 in the evening (YASSS! We made it!!)

View inside the MOA Arena. πŸ‘―
Got our ticket!! Yeyy! 😌😌
We we're faced with 7 beautiful young lads with a very strong charismatic aura.Of course, they started the show with a BANG! They performed RUN, Danger, Dead Leaves, Tomorrow, Butterfly, Love is Not Over and House of Cards for the first part of the show.

I thought I'm going to faint after seeing Bangtan live! I was so amazed and overwhelmed that I couldn't even took a good picture. I was so focused on their performance the whole time.

Opening perf. I forgot where are the other members when I took this πŸ˜… Sorry for the quality ✌

Not when Namjoon came out with his solo performance!

Namjoon performed "What am I to you? (RM's intro for Dark & Wild)" and even my camera couldn't take Namjoon's brightness! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I AM SOOO REALLY SURPRISED! I FEEL SO ATTACKED!
They also performed Boy In Luv (band version), Save Me, FIRE, Hiphop Phile and We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2 for the second part of the show.

(I wasn't able to capture lots of photos cause I really wanted to enjoy the show. 😿 )

After the 2nd ment, rap line slay us with Cypher pt. 3: Killer. πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ PH ARMYs are all turned up! We're all jamming to BTS that I can hardly keep up with the crowd! Seriously, this is one of the best concert I've ever attended! 😏😏

Rap line ended their performance with splashing of water making us all VIP standees wet! πŸ˜†πŸ˜† The rest of BTS joined them and they performed "If I Rule the World" followed by "Baepsae". I feel so attacked watching those hip thrust in a verrrry close proximity!

And here I thought their rudeness was all over, when Jungkookie started DOPE with his famous "Ayo ladies and gentlemen" verse! They also performed Ma City, Boys with Fun, Rise of Bangtan, 2 Cool 4 Skul and No More Dream.

Bangtan gave thank you messages to Filipino ARMYs led by their sexy leader, Kim Namjoon.
Don't know where to focus thou😩πŸ˜ͺ

LOOOL this cuties πŸ˜‚
Min Yoongi jjang jjang bbong bbong please show us your face!! Jebaaaal πŸ™πŸ™
I'm trying to get that ball, but-
Jin being the Eomma and Kookie being the bratty maknae πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

During the second part of the show, they did the famous 3:33 part of their hit song "FIRE". Taehyung also known as V change the lyrics to "Mahal Ko Kaya" which means "I love you all" in english.

Encore stage was a little bit dramatic. 😒😒 Cause meaning they will have to say 'bye' already. ☹️ And the second thing that makes me sad is that the quality of my photos are so bad. πŸ˜‚

My heart skipped a beat after hearing their messages to us. 😒😒

Jimin: "Manila, next time let's have more fun. Okay? Magkita tayo ulit Manila." (Manila, next time let's have more fun. Okay? Let's see each other again Manila.)

We managed to get in front *phew* after pushing and shoving people jostling towards the stage. Hobie noticed our fan projects and we can tell that he's so happy seeing the word formation project by Filipino ARMYs. They ended the show singing I Need U together with us ARMYs.

This is the one of the best of the best live stages that I ever watched in my entire life! I know I'm being exaggerated but knowing that these boys started from being a nogu to what they are now make me feel like a Mom who raised seven boys by herself. 😊😊

Well, what else can you expect? Fire. Explosions. And well, BTS --- just as they are. Wooow! BTS bringing kpop into a whole new level! And I’m lucky to be part of this fandom. ARMYs jjang!!

After concert, outside the venue. Waiting for Bangtan to come out. Charot!
After concert, inside the venue. 😊

Gu Family book (The Love Story of Kang Chi) - Review

I don’t watch historical dramas often and I admit I started this drama because of Lee Seung Gi. :D However, overall, I found the drama to be enjoyable. γƒ„

Gu Family book (The Love Story of Kang Chi) is really entertaining. You will fall in love with love more than a hundred times, will eventually fall for Kang Chi's killer smile, be lost in a whirlwind of emotions - hate Jo Gwan-Woong and want to stab him million times, fear death and will admire the strength, goodness and determination of all the characters.

Like what. So a mythical creature and a human completely DO IT?! And mythical creature knocks her up. Human pregoooooo.. And then realize she just did it with a beast? OTOKEHHHH?

She has the baby and he's half beast, half human. This baby is the legendary Lee Seung Gi. Bae Suzy (from Dream High) goes and fall in love with this half beast, half human. Isn't it amazing? Isn't it surprising? Isn't it? :D

Amazing dramas and you never expect what happens next. Face Death. Drama. Revenge. Evil. Rage. Love. Tears. Laughs. It's like an emotional roller coaster.

My favorite character will of course be Choi Kang Chi and Dam Yeo-Wool. They are my favorite on-screen couple now, their love isn't developed in a matter of seconds unlike other drama series, it was a progressive love story that ended up to be a real one. The strength they draw from each other made me realize that love like this is just once in a lifetime. They are willing to save each other even though it means dying.

I smiled a lot, got really scared when they were using their bow and arrows, fell head over heels for their love story and cried for the heart breaking scenes which almost lead them to death. They also had the best kissing scene ever, it's so passionate that you would really think that they were real couples in real life. Arghhh, sweetness overload.

We hear through gisaeng exposition that Jo Gwan-woong got hauled off to Lee Soon-shin, hog-tied and short of one hand. But… I wanted to SEE that. In all its bloody and ridiculous glory. What the hell? :X

In terms of the acting, Lee Seung Gi (as always)was awesome. He was Choi Kang Chi - the sexiest gumiho alive. :D This guy is just amazing at acting and singning and being a comedian. Choi Jin Hyuk and Lee Yo Bi were pleasant surprises, and I will definitely keep my eyes on their next projects. I know Suzy received a lot of hate, but I actually liked her in the role. =) Yes, she didn’t deliver an Oscar-winning performance, but overall, she met up my expectations. In the case of Sung Joon and Yoo Yeon Seok, well, they did whatever they could with their characters. The entire cast was overall good, and my problem was with the lack of layers and development in many of them.

Oh well, I just wish it had a Part Two. :D It's so good that I got addicted to it. LOL. Definitely, it's not boring. =) I think my standards for a Korean Drama just increased because of the good effect of The Love Story of Kang Chi brought me. I don't want it to end. LOL :3

Favorite Quotations form Gu Family Book

“Let’s meet again. I will wait. Let’s definitely meet again” -Kang Chi

“The time when we meet again, I will recognize you first. The time when we meet again, I will love you first” -Kang Chi

“Like that the sound of her breath stopped. And also, just like that… my time stopped” -Kang Chi

“And my time that stopped, started to flow again” -Kang Chi

“I’ve seen numerous people born as humans, but act less than animals. What makes you human is not your birth, but what you hold dear in your heart.” - Admiral Lee Soon Shin

“Whether you’re half human or not, she may not care about your outer appearance. No matter how your eyes and face change, you’re still Choi Kang Chi inside.” - Yeo Wool

“The ones you love the most are always the ones that hurt you the most. You get hurt because you love and care about them.” - Admiral Lee Soon Shin

“A man needs a friend to share goals with… A woman to share his heart with… A nation to serve with all his heart. That’s the best life one can live.” - Admiral Lee Soon Shin-

“Living your life only to get acknowledged by others, that’s hypocrisy.” -Admiral Lee Soon Shin

GU FAMILY BOOK Final Chapter - Three Wishes of a Dying Person

Uh… so THAT happened. There are words. They’re forming slowly because I have a melty puddle where my brain used to be. It’s finale time for GU Family Book, and I’ll tell you one thing: It ain’t boring! It just made me burst into tears. T_T

As Yeo Wool starts to struggle against pain she asks Kang Chi to help her up and when he does, she asks him to grant her three wishes. Aww man, is she really gonna die? *sigh* So, that’s how Fate works, and all he can do is accept it. =(

Wish #1: Have a dinner with everyone.
Yeo Wool puts on a brave face and jokes with everyone, reminiscing about when Gon was shorter than her until 10 years old and that he doesn’t like to eat carrots. Apparently, Tae Seo didn’t like carrots either. Suddenly, Yeo Wool struggles in pain and blood begins to drip on the floor. Master Dam tells Yeo Wool to go back to her room to rest and Yeo Wool apologizes to her father. Master Dam then tells Kang Chi that he’s leaving his daughter to him before leaving the table. Awwwe. Nooo…I can’t stand this anymore. =((

Kang Chi carries Yeo Wool back to her room and she tells him Wish #2: Go for a walk with him.

Kang Chi takes Yeo Wool to sit on the rocks near a river. At the lake, Yeo Wool asks Kang Chi why he is afraid of spiders and he tells her its because it has a lot of legs. Kang Chi then asks her if she remembers when he told her that he’d make her his bride. Realization dawns on her and she asks when he remembered.
Kang Chi: “From the moment I knew you were Dam Yeo Wool.”
Yeo Wool: “But, why didn’t you say anything?”

Kang Chi: “Because you already started having meaning for me. Will you marry me?” - Deym! His one eyed crying again. It’s so freakin’ distracting.

Yeo Wool: “I can’t even make good rice.”

Kang Chi: “Will you marry me?”

Yeo Wool: “Not only that, I’m terrible at sewing.”

Kang Chi: “Will you marry me?”

Yeo Wool tells him that she doesn’t want to be a sad memory to him and she wants him to be happy whenever he thinks of her.

He told Yeo Wool that for sure her Wish #3: Let's meet again. Yeo Wool nods and Kang Chi tells her that they will surely meet again and that he’ll wait. They both then tell each other that they love each other. Blue lights begin to float all around them as they kiss. And so Dam Yeo Wool died in Kang Chi's arms. In a voiceover, Kang Chi tells her that the next time they meet, he will be sure to recognize her first and that he’ll love her first. And then…her body goes limp. (Are you serious? Are you freakin’ kidding me? There’s gotta still be a way to save her. *cries*))

I’m so sad for Gon as he stands in the dark courtyard crying alone.=(

Kang Chi is in Yeo Wool’s room deep in thought as Tae Seo comes in. The purple flower is dead in the vase. Kang Chiwonders if Yeo Wool would still be alive if it wasn’t because of him. Tae Seo tells him that if he had to choose between living 100 years alone or 100 days with someone he loves, he would choose the latter. He tells Kang Chi that Yeo Wool was so much happier because of him.

Kang Chi bids farewell to everyone at the academy. Master Dam asks him if he will be looking for the Gu Family Book and Kang  Chi tells him that he’s going to stick it out for a while and wait for Yeo Wool. Gong Dal sends him away with some special medicine and a ring that symbolizes that Kang Chi was his student. Master Dam presents Kang Chi with Yeo Wool’s sword.

Gon doesn’t come out to say goodbye. He stands off in the shadows saying, “Take care, Choi Kang Chi. Live well, my friend.” Kang Chi doesn’t even turn to see him but raises Yeo’s sword as his way of acknowledgement and farewell to Gon.

This was great fun and it was my first time touching a video editor. XD Please forgive my inexperience. LOL. Feel free to follow me on if you are a BEAST fan.

BEAST's Junhyung Talks About Being Compared to G-Dragon

Since the debut of idol group BEAST in 2009, member Junhyung has been attacked by many for similarities to Big Bang leader G-Dragon.
With the release of his debut solo EP Flower, the group's main rapper is trying to set himself apart and stand on his own as a legitimate force in the Korean music industry. However, many G-Dragon fans are still claiming his entire concept as an artist is a rip-off of the YG Entertainment superstar.
In a recent interview, Junhyung addressed the concerns once again, and had a lot of wonderful things to say about G-Dragon.
"It's a bit of a shame," he began. "G-Dragon is a much superior senior artist than I am. I think he is extremely charismatic when it comes to music."
"I have always had respect for him," explained Junhyung. "I think it is an honor just to be compared to him.
Junhyung's new title track "Flower" has been sweeping music charts with its catchy beat and fresh sound. The music video is a dark, psychedelic mix of curious imagery and while G-Dragon is known for using similar elements in his releases, it is fairly obvious when watching Junhyung in action that his approach differs greatly.
Big Bang and G-Dragon fans still do not seem satisfied, and to them the BEAST member said, "In case G-Dragon's fans are offended because of me, I will apologize."
What do you think? Is Junhyung piggybacking on G-Dragon's success, or is he giving us something new and exiting? What are your opinions about this? Let me know via Twitter and Tumblr.  You can follow me and as always, Happy K-Popping!! =)))

Yong Jun Hyung Celebrates Birthday With Heechul

BEAST’s Yong Jun Hyung recently celebrated his birthday with Super Junior member Kim Heechul!

On December 19, Kim Heechul shared a photo to his Instagram account with the playful caption, “Happy Birthday to Yong Jung Hyung! As a gift, Gun Hee and I sang him the birthday song as he blew out the candles, so we made memories and celebrated like beggars.”

In the photo, Yong Jun Hyun covers his face playfully while his guest beside him has his face pixelated. Kim Heechul acts as the camera person for the special occasion and appears to be either making a cutesy pose or covering a facial blemish. Nevertheless, the trio looked adorable celebrating a special day for Yong Jun Hyung, who was born on December 19, 1989.
Netizens commented, “Kim Heechul and Yong Jun Hyung must be close!” and “Happy Birthday Yong Jun Hyung!”
